The GEL-KINETIC™ FR shoe is reimagined with Copenhagen-based womenswear designer Cecilie Bahnsen, who brings her signature romantic femininity to this technical silhouette.
The upper is elevated with a rich material mix of high-shine synthetic leather, 3D-printed mesh, and embossed floral textures, while a Mary-Jane inspired construction features double velcro straps that reinterpret the iconic ASICS Stripes. These details are complemented with delicate floral appliqués and decorative beads and charms on the laces. A half-tongue construction with a signature floral lace puller replaces the traditional tongue, and subtle Cecilie Bahnsen branding is embossed on the heel among floral details, reflecting the designer's everyday couture aesthetic.
The sole unit features an updated scutoid GEL™ technology structure. It's developed through insights from walking-specific motions and foot pressures at the ASICS Institute of Sport Science, repositioning the GEL™ technology pods more directly underfoot for advanced impact absorption and all-day comfort.
